Mission Statement
Charlottesville Yoseikan LLC, Chito-ryu Karate-Do
Charlottesville Yoseikan LLC, established in October 2002, promises superior training in the art and way of Chito-ryu Karate.
Chartered under the aegis of the United States Chito-ryu Karate Federation, founded by William J. Dometrich, Hanshi and Barbara E. Dometrich, Kyoshi as directed by O'Sensei, Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose, founder of Chito-ryu Karate-Do, Charlottesville Yoseikan LLC strives to promote the tenets of Chito-ryu karate in all aspects of this martial way.
We will promote the well being of all individuals who seek training in karate-do by assisting them to achieve a greater sense of health physically, mentally, and spiritually through the ideals handed down from the knowledge and skill of the founder of Chito-ryu, Dr. Chitose, O'Sensei. |

Kangeiko 2012
What a great success! Everyone from Instructors: Senseis Hexter, Rike, & Grammer as well as the participants, volunteers, and family members made for a wonderful celebration of our traditional Winter training!
We look forward to many more years ahead to test our endurance, train together with great spirit and health, and share the extended family love that we are so blessed to have in our little dojo!
